（中央社記者陳至中台北29日電）副總統吳敦義今天表示，總統馬英九登上太平島，是捍衛領土主權與尊嚴，「當然該去」。

吳副總統今天出席2016台灣國際科學展覽會，會前接受媒體採訪，對馬總統登上太平島發表看法。

吳副總統提到，國際間的仲裁案，引發太平島是島嶼還是礁石的爭議，他認為礁石說是錯誤的主張，馬總統作為國家元首，有必要捍衛中華民國的領土主權與尊嚴。
